My dog, Zeus, did not like many people at all, he was an anxious King German Shepard and tended to not let many people in his inner circle; however, Karl was the exception! Not only did Zeus immediate become comfortable with Karl, Karl was able to successfully train him and at one point, no longer needed his choker collar! I was so thrilled that Zeus was able to become comfortable with Karl as it allowed me to go on work trips without any worry. If you’re looking for a great dog lover and compassionate individual to watch your pets, Karl is the person you should seek out! Oh and my two cats , Kebbi and Kovu, also immediately were comfortable with Karl. Such a relief to find a good person to house sit and care for my little buddies.
Having known Karl since high school, I can confidently say that he embodies compassion, firmness, and intentionality in all his actions. Karl's love for animals knows no bounds, and his ability to connect with and care for them is truly remarkable. Hi All - just wanted to give you a review of Karl J. and the wonderful care he provided for our pets and home. We travel for at least a week at a time and never have any worries with Karl taking care of things. We have our Border Collie Bella and a black cat Aptos and it really helps ease the travel worries to have reliable, trustworthy care for our fur babies. He made sure Bella got her walks and play time!! We highly recommend Karl!

I will minimize stress for your pet by adhering to their normal routine as closely as possible, while also providing play and enrichment activities according to your pet's needs.

Additional information that would be helpful includes your training style and commands used, as well as what skills/behaviors you are currently working on with your pet so that I can support that progress as well.
A typical day
Daily activities are tailored to the needs and regular routines of each pet. Regular activities often include directed walks on city streets, sniff walks through the park, on-leash games of fetch, and mental stimulation activities including training reinforcement and training new skills.
