Avid walker with much love to give.
Pet care experience
I will give all the love and attention in the world to your furry family. If they like walks, we'll go on plenty of walks! If they like playing, we'll play! I've had dogs and a few cats for my whole life. I had to take care of everyone since my parents worked so much when I was younger. I also worked at my a groom and board kennel For a few years. I would set up their beds, wash their dishes after each meal, administer medication and food, do their bedding laundry, take them on walks and play with them in the big play areas. I'm such a big dog person that I yearn to pet every dog I see on the street. Please let me get to know your pet family!
Reviews
Karissa once-again came through for us and more. Tula T. absolutely loves her, and this makes us feel 100% comfortable leaving Tula with her while we travel. We recommend Karissa to anyone who has a pup that needs special 1:1 attention and love while its owners are away.
Karissa was fantastic with Tula. She took her on walks, sent pictures throughout, and kept us apprised on Tula's progress. I was also impressed how Tula had warmed-up to Karissa by the end of her stay (she is usually quite timid). Definitely a 5-star caretaker.
My dog likes Karissa more than she likes me! My dog can’t wait for me to go away again so that she can hang!!!! Two pays up!!
Karissa has a kind gentle way with animals. We have a rescued German Shepherd who doesn't do well with folks he don't know. She earned his trust quickly and he adores her. She is good with all animals. Our home has cats, dogs, and parrots. She is trustworthy, hard working and in college. She has house sat for us and is a pleasure. I would recommend and trust my home and pets in her care anytime.

Information Karissa R. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know whether or not you are comfortable with the dog being on or off leash on walks, whether or not they are friendly towards other dogs and people (PLEASE BE SPECIFIC! Some dogs may like girls and not boys, or they can get along with little dogs and not big dogs, or they are alright in the vicinity of other dogs but will turn hostile once another dog touches their toy, etc.), and let me know what kinds of games they most enjoy, how they eat their food and snacks, and when they should receive their food and snacks, whether or not there can be other animals present during feeding time, whether or not they are allowed on furniture, if they are potty trained, would you like me to watch their poop for signs of anything weird, how do they react to loud noises and vehicles, and can they be transported in vehicles. If so, what is the most comfortable way, for you and the dog, to transport them.
A typical day
I live in between Forest and Cedar Park and Western Washington University, which is home to Sehome Hill Arboretum. Depending on the dog, they will enjoy play time in the field of Forest and Cedar Park, walks and jogs through the trails of the Arboretum, and maybe even break time on a bench on Western's beautiful campus. We could also enjoy walks along the beach a few streets down, or on the boardwalk! Perhaps we could play fetch, tug-of-war, chases, and any other games they enjoy.
