Hello! Thank you for visiting my page. I am Karissa and I have been a Veterinary Technician for about 2.5 years at a local animal hospital. I have had different kinds of animals (dogs, cats, ferrets, fish, and more!) in my lifetime. I love animals so much that I decided to work in the veterinary field to learn the health care of animals and to assist doctors with providing medical attention to our patients. Karissa as usual did a great job. My cats like her and even Nesta who tend to be aloof allowed her to gracefully to give her insulin. Heartily recommend her.

For my cats, I clean/scoop the litter boxes daily. They are given fresh food and water daily. They are cared for and showered with love every day. Within the past year, my family and I recently found out one of my cats is a diabetic. We make sure he gets his insulin everyday and monitor him carefully. As for my senior dog, she is given fresh food and water daily. We lay pee pads due to her lack of holding in her urine and bowel movements. She is given supplements such as joint supplements and many treats ! She is walked daily multiple times to get her exercise and empty her system.

As a safety precaution, I would appreciate knowing if your pets have behavioral issues and anything I should be aware of and things I should proceed with caution and avoid doing. It is important for me to keep myself safe, and your pet safe! Thank you in advance!
A typical day
We would go out for walks (for the dogs) and explore in appropriate areas. If there are any appropriate toys to play with, they will be used to help entertain them to avoid boredom. The best way is to interact with your pets to keep them active and stimulated!

Availability
As I had mentioned, I do work at an animal hospital. I make myself available on my days off, and I work around my schedule to take care of your fur babies. When you book with me, I let you know immediately if times that you chose, coincide with my shifts at work and work around times, if permitted.
