Pet care experience
Before joining Rover, Matt and I have housesat 14 dogs and 8 cats. Even before that, I used to volunteer for local dog rescues and have personal experiences with family and friends' dogs, cats, and small pets. Matt grew up with his own dog (a labradoodle named Cody).

Karisa and Matt did a wonderful job watching Sydney for 5 days at our home. We received daily, detailed updates and tons of cute photos of Syd in action (or sleeping). When we returned, the house was spotless and Syd seemed very relaxed.
Karisa accepted my last-minute request to take care of my ‘grumpy’ sausage dog and I couldn’t be more satisfied!!! She sent me pics, provided updates, and I could tell that my dog was safe and spoiled ?
Karisa and her boyfriend were so kind! Karisa was flexible with drop off and pick up, and sent many photo updates (I didn’t ask them they just took a ton of cute photos!). They took her on a long walk and even folded all her daycare items nicely (nicer than I packed it). Will definitely reach out to them in the future!

We typically do housesits, where your pet may be more comfortable in their own home, rather than boarding. We are responsible with household needs while taking care to be respectful of the property. Let us know if you need plant watering or other care in your home. For daycare: We do not have pets of our own. We live in an apartment and gated community that allows pets and is located walking distance to parks. If you wish, we can provide regular updates and communication over texts/email/etc.

For daycare: Let's play fetch and go on walks! There are nice parks, paved trails, and neighborhoods around my apartment to explore. We can also entertain cats at home.

We work full-time from home, so Monday to Friday we just need space to work and reliable wifi for calls. We're flexible on weekends. Let us know your needs and we can work something out!
