Pet care experience
I am a registered nurse-turned stay at home mom who loves animals. I grew up with yorkies as well as birds, turtles, rabbits, fish, and hamsters. As an adult I have trained puppies to be my own companions. I cared for our elderly chocolate lab which we loved dearly. Currently our family has a lab/aussie mix who is about 2 years old and loves people and other animals. We also have an outdoor cat that we adopted after fostering her and her litter of kittens. Our children range in age from 3-12 and share my love for animals. They love to help with our pets and give them attention. We live on around 4 acres. Although we don't have a fence, there is plenty of space to go for a sniffing walk around the property or up and down our quite lane. If you're looking for a quiet getaway for your beloved pet, then our home would be perfect.

Karisa is a very calm person that loves animals. She is a very capable caregiver of people and animals and is punctual and very detail minded. She has been around pets her whole life and has a great fondness for them. I think Karisa would do an excellent job at being a pet caregiver.

We are able to let your dog roam free through most of the main level of our house during the day. We are able to shut off rooms as needed. Our dog is very social and loves to play with other dogs, but we could keep your pet separated if needed. We have the ability to crate or can also use the exercise pen if your pet isn't comfortable being in a crate. Most of the day your pet would be free to roam and interact with our family.

We love to play tug, fetch, and go for walks down the lane or around the property. My kids are used to animals and enjoy playing and gently loving on them.

Availability
I am home all day other than for short trips out to the store or to pick up kids from school. Your pet is welcome to be loose in the house with us. If we need to leave for a short time, we are fine with either a crate or exercise pen to keep your pet safe while we are away. We are able to set up the exercise pen outside to allow your pet to have some supervised breaks out in the fresh air. We enjoy walking up and down our quiet lane or around our property.
