Pet care experience
I have spent time taking care of pets since I was six years old. I have had several personal pets, and taken care of family and family friends animals. I have house sat for cats, dogs, kittens and puppies. I do a lot of volunteer work with veterinary clinics and at animal sanctuaries. I can walk, feed, bathe, provide first aid care, and clean after all kinds of animals. Your pets will be safe and loved with me. I am perusing a career in animal care, and am on my third year of a biology degree focusing in animal biology.

Karis house sat and watched my crazy Doberman, Scooby. He’s a big dog and can be reactive so it’s hard to find a sitter for him but Karis did a great job! I got daily updates on how Scooby was doing with pictures/videos. The house was nice and clean when I came back. I will be rebooking in the future!
Karis did a great job taking care of my two cats. She sent regular pictures--both a comfort and made me miss them! They have some pretty specific feeding needs, and she took care of it all. They didn't demonstrate any signs of stress, even after two weeks of disruption. I would highly recommend Karis and plan on using her again.

A typical day
I love bringing dogs on hikes with me in the area. If the time allows, and you’re comfortable, I’ve gone as far as Idaho for some of the prettiest views and dog friendly trails. Besides that, tug of war and fetch are two of my specialties.

I am working part time, and am in school 3 hours a day. So I have big gaps in my day to spend playing with and taking care of your pets!
