Pet care experience
I’ve had multiple dogs ever since I was a kid. I’ve housesat for numerous family friends and acquaintances. I know human and pet CPR. I have worked with senior dogs and young dogs. I have personal experience with pitbulls, rottweilers, great Danes, herding dogs, huskies, labs, and beagles. I have some experience with behavioral issues and lots of experience giving medication. I also have lots of experience with escape artists (my childhood dog was a beagle who could climb trees and was dog reactive).

Karis has dog sat for me several times, and she always does a great job! My dogs love her so much, and I’ve never had any issues trusting her with my pack. They get so excited to see her, so I know they are getting just as much care & affection as they would from me.

Please let me know ahead of time any special information that I might need such as a second set of clothes that doesn’t smell like cats (to the best of my ability at least) or no hats (I have met dogs that freak out if you’re wearing a hat haha) or they are an escape artist so I need to be extra mindful while coming and going.
A typical day
I love getting to play with all different types of pets and getting to watch them experience the world. I love doing enrichment activities as well! I’m also totally down to cuddle and hang out or sit vaguely near each other if that’s more their speed.

Availability
I work as an EMT on a 2 week rotating schedule so on my long weeks at work I have two full days off and on my short weeks I have five days off and I work nights, so I am very used to being up all night.
