Pet care experience
Home full-time with a large fenced in back yard and lots of grass space for your pup to run laps and play fetch. I love to be outside as much as your dog does. I have been caring for dogs for four years and have recently brought up my one-year old pup. I have experience in positive dog training as well! Baths, brushing, big exercise, evening cuddles and special diets can all be accommodated. Lots of toys will be provided, plus a fun friend to play with. Please note, I have a dog of my own who is a 1-year-old spayed german shepherd. She is well tempered and very friendly with other dogs, plus loves when new dogs come to visit her home. If needing a crate space, I also have a large crate available for use.

Karina is extremely responsible and kind. I can not say enough good things about her, she has lots of experience with dogs and has a pup of her own. She is very easy to work with and I guarantee that you and more importantly your dog will have a great experience working with her.
Karina watched my little 11 year old Chihuahua, Oliver, while I was out of town. With seizures, heart issues, and special-needs, it was not always easy to find someone who was up to the task of dealing with my little old man, but Karina was great. She gave him a lot of love, took him on slow and steady walks (she would have taken him on long hikes if he had the stamina), and showed him endless patience. I'd recommend Karina in a heartbeat.
Karina is great with animals and has helped take care of my dog a few times. She is smart and uses great judgement and loves dogs. She has a large dog of her own that is well trained.

Please let me know the temperament of your dog before sending your pooch my way. For example: is your dog submissive/dominate, a chewer, protective of food/toys, tends to get on furniture, aggressive towards any types of dogs/people. I am flexible with any breeds. Potty trained is necessary. Lets have a meet and greet before stays to make sure everyone gets along!
A typical day
You can expect your dog to get two walks a day, plus a large exercise either at the local dog park or up on Bonneville shoreline for a hike. The backyard is completely fenced in with a minimum of 4 feet of fence, so your dog will be let out multiple times a day for bathroom breaks. The house has hard wood floors throughout the main space and carpet in the bedrooms, which you dog will not have access to. All dog food is stored away in sealed containers or in high cabinets.
