I’m a dedicated fur mom for the past 12 years. I’ve been boarding and house-sitting dogs and cats for family, friends, and neighbors the past 8 years, mostly around holidays but available anytime of the year. Boarding: There is space to share in my home where your fur baby will have room to stretch out and get comfortable. I keep multiple bowls and fountains of fresh water available at all times upstairs, downstairs, and outside on the back lanai. I have a small fenced yard with grass for some sunbathing, playing, and quick potty breaks. I do leave the house every once in a while for medical appointments and to run errands. While I’m away I have a Furbo Camera set up so I can keep an eye on the animals from my phone. It also lets me talk to them through the microphone and it shoots out treats! I have a large crate available as well as gates that can be set up if they need to be kept out of a certain room. Walks: For me, walks are more than just waiting to pick up poop. I direct the path for the walk but I allow the dog(s) to sniff and explore their immediate area without rushing them. It mentally stimulates them and keeps them happy. As long as your pup does well around others I am more than happy to take them to play and get their energy out at a dog park or nearby hiking trail.

Karina, is great. She has watched our 2 pooches twice now and we have been very impressed both times. She obviously cares for them a lot and gives them lots of attention and treats to keep them happy. She is very communicative and sends lots of photos/videos. We are very happy to have found her. Will definitely book with her again.
KARINA IS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!! First of all, let me start by saying that my dog does NOT warm up to people very quickly. She's very shy and has had that timid personality trait since she was a puppy. We had our meet and greet at Karina's house where she walked me around her home to give me a tour. My dog IMMEDIATELY jumped up to her for attention and allowed her to pet her and play with her. I was speechless! I always say dogs are the best judges of human character and my dog immediately loved her. It was a sign! The following day, I went back to drop off my dog and of course, she was excited to see Karina. I left and she didn't even turn around to say bye. My dog has NEVER been around cats, and I was really nervous about her being aggressive towards them, but she was so intrigued and curious. And the cats loved my dog! I feel like Karina foster's such a safe space for these animals, that they feel safe enough to approach other animals/people and it is MORE than I could ask for in a dog sitter. She fed my dog accordingly. I secretly tested her by putting just ONE extra feeding in the bag to see if she would feed my dog the accurate amount, and upon pick up, my dog had exactly one extra feeding left over. So i know she is following care instructions carefully and precisely. I am so pleased with my experience, that I'm hoping to continue to use her for future dog sitting needs. She is absolutely wonderful and is the best decision I made in regards to my little fur baby!
Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the care of my pup. We received very few updates compared to other sitters in the past and the ones we did he just did not appear to be happy. Our dog also seemed stressed and anxious upon return which is a first. He also was not interested in his food and when we compared the food returned and his supply at home it is not the same; which is a concern if his diet was altered during his stay. We also immediately had to bathe him due to an unfamiliar and unpleasant odor. I was not pleased that upon return I received what appeared to be the wrong food back, I also did not receive all of my items back such as a care guide that I had printed, his automatic water bowl, and food measuring cup. I understand that watching multiple dogs and cats can get hectic; however I have never had a sitter mix up items or not return him with all that we provided which is why We didn’t think to check. Will not be using this sitter again.
