Pet care experience
I grew up in a household where all animals were loved, scales, fur, hair, you name it! We were very close friends with a professional dog breeder, and always had multiple animals of our own running all over the house! I have been bottle feeding, potty training, leash training, and socializing dogs specifically for many years. I also did two years college for animal science (training includes cattle, horses, pigs, rabbits, dogs, cats, rodents, etc.) It is my dream to one day open a veterinary practice of my own. In my household, we currently have dogs, cats, snakes, and lizards. I love all animals, I am not afraid to get my hands dirty, and I've never met an animal I didn't love as my own!

Karina is trustworthy, reliable, and a very experienced in house/pet sitting. She did an amazing job with our dog and he was happy and healthy when we returned. The house was clean and tidy and the communication was amazing. Karina was kind enough to provide us with text, pictures and video daily. What more could you ask for. I highly recommend Karina for house/pet sitting, and will definitely request for her to stay again.

This is my third time booking cat check-ins at my home with Karina and she has provided exceptional care each time. I was away for 2 weeks and her daily updates and great communication gave me comfort knowing my two cats were safe and having fun! I enjoyed receiving pictures each day. I always get to know the animal first, learn their traits and routines. Are they an escape artist? Are they food/treat motivated? What is their routine with their owner? Are they reactive? I will only do what is comfortable with the animal and their owner, and stick to their schedule you have set with them already.

A typical day
I want to make sure all the animals needs are met! Weather that be mental or physical stimulation, I have puzzles for training dogs and mental focus/stimulation, I love exploring with my pup, so I can take clients dogs around the neighborhood, to explore trails, go to local dog parks (with owners consent), take the dogs to the water, etc. I have a wonderful fully fenced dog park in my neighborhood that I can take clients dogs too for exercise.

Availability
I currently work a full time, Monday to Friday job. I am available in the mornings, evenings, over night and on the weekends! Staying over night is no issue! Check ins are almost always possible! I have done daily check ins, and stays for 10+ days. I am very accommodating to your needs. Life can be very busy, so I am offering that little bit of support that you may need!
