Pet care experience
I have loved dogs for as long as I can remember. When I was 12 years old I convinced my parents to adopt my first pups (2 terriers) who I potty trained,taught basic commands to (sit, stay, down, no), would exercise and would groom. My two current dogs are both adopted from shelters. One was previously a stray dog and the other was rescued from a hoarding situation where she was with over 40dogs. Both my fur babies came with trust issues and were extremely fearful. I have provided love, attention and all the skills I have learned in the past to help them overcome their fears. I truly believe that all dogs deserve love ❤️ ,even shy/scared dogs. I will provide the same love, patience and care for your fur baby the same way I care for mine, and will ensure it feels comfortable in its new home away from home.

Karina was fantastic! Our dog has some separation anxiety and is a handful when my wife and I first leave her and Karina was so understanding and patient. She has rescue dogs that have some anxiety as well so she totally understood. She took great care of our pup, sent lots of pictures, videos, and updates throughout the day. She took our dog for multiple walks, to the dog park, and even charted everything on Rover as far as water breaks, pee breaks, etc. which not all Rover sitters do. Would highly recommend her and will definitely re-book in the future!
She has a rare quality of truly caring for your dog and going above and beyond. A proud owner of two adopted dogs, you can tell she really loves her pets and treats them as part of her family. She also takes care of my dog with the same love and care. I would definitely recommend her to take care of my dog.
Karina has a warm and caring personality that really shines through especially when caring for dogs. When we were roommates, one of her dogs, Zoey, experienced anxiety being alone. She was so anxious being alone she chewed a viewing hole in our blinds. Karina fully researched possible solutions until finding the right one for Zoey. I witnessed Zoey go from an anxious, nervous dog to a dog with a cuddly, loving personality that is no longer destructive. Karina truly cares for the well being of our 4 legged friends.

I LOVE ALL DOGS but because I want to make sure my pups are always safe, I can’t care for pups that are aggressive. Also, I can only care for those under 25 pounds since I don’t have the space to care for bigger dogs.

Please let me know if your dog has any behaviors I should be aware of and if there is a schedule you would like for me to follow regarding feeding times, exercise, play etc. Please note that I can’t care for pups bigger than 25 pounds or with aggressive tendencies.
A typical day
I take my pups out for potty breaks every 4 hours and exercise them every day between 1.5-2 hours a day. On our walks, I try to take different routes so the dogs can smell different areas. I also try to take them to the dog park every other day to socialize.

I am currently home full time and am available all day to care after your pups needs. I never leave my pups alone for longer than 30min so your pup will always have me around.
