Hello, my name is Karina Garcia.
Pet care experience
I worked at South Paw Pet Grooming for about 2 years. I learned a lot about different breeds and how to care for each pup whether they came in with loads of energy or they were extremely scared of bath time. I had an amazing team that taught me how to handle every pup and really get to know them to create a bond. I have always spent my free time caring for animals growing up. Sometimes it was volunteering or getting a job as a cleaner at animal hospitals so I could help care for the animals staying overnight. At times it was walking miles to a friend or family member's house to help care for a puppy they just introduced to the family. I spend my time asking a lot of questions and doing a lot of research to find the best solution for things such as a teething puppy. I currently help my older sister care for her three large breed dogs which at one point was only one. I'm glad I have been there to see them grow from puppies to now adult dogs.

Karina has been amazing with my 3 dogs! I have a 3 year old German Shepherd, 9 year old pit, and 7 week old puppy! She was very patient and always provided detailed information on her visits with my dogs. She is one of the few people that can keep up with my GSD, loves to play but also respected my rules on obedience training with the dogs. I would 110% recommend her to anyone

I like to know what is normal behavior or if they have any special needs like medication at a certain time. I'm very open to learning how people prefer things done since I understand everyone has different ways of doing things or going about life.

I like to know any medical conditions, specific diet or schedule they follow. Any preferences like maybe what toys are for outside and what toys are inside toys. Any small details especially related to health that would be important to know.
A typical day
I love play time especially tug of war, I don’t have set preferences or exactly know pin point how I would go about the visits until I know the dog more and what they enjoy to do, with higher energy dogs I like to do some running or a walk to get that energy down a little and have some toy playtime after. I have no set places for walks but I usually like going anywhere around the neighborhood or somewhere safe where not a lot of cars are passing or it’s too loud.

Availability
I currently work Full Time from home in the mornings for Vivint. I usually work till 2:30pm. My schedule is pretty flexible overall and sometimes I take on work weekends and have multiple weekdays free.
