Hi there! My name is Karina and I would love to take care of your pets. My family adopted two cats in 2015 and I adopted my own dog in 2020. Beyond that, I have taken care of both dogs and cats for various friends, neighbors, and family members. I am genuinely interested in dog and cat behavior and I believe educating myself is so important in order to be a good caretaker. I practice patience and compassion with any animal that is around me and would never compromise their safety or comfort. I am so proud of how far my own pup has come in our training and, though I'm no professional, I look forward to applying what I've learned from him and other animals to being the best caretaker possible for your pets.

Karina was great with our dogs!! She’s very nice and was willing to work with a unique situation we have with our elderly dog. I feel very comfortable leaving the dogs with her and won’t hesitate to have her sit with our dogs again.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or medicines that need to be taken into account. If you have a big dog, please let me know if he or she tends to pull on their leash. I am a small person, so this may be a problem if your dog weighs more than 65 pounds. I am comfortable giving oral and injected medicine and have experience with senior and special needs dogs.
A typical day
Stimulation is so important! I have plenty of different types of toys I can bring with me, I love playing with dogs, and I'm an avid walker so I'm always down to go on whatever length of walk your dog requires!
