I love animals. I was the type who had never had a dog (dad has allergies) but have always dog sit for people around me. I would say I have a lot of experience dealing with animals, especially dogs, bunnies, birds, cats. I have had birds, bunnies, and guinea pigs as pets. Sometimes I would take in stray cats and injured birds. I joined Rover because I wanted to get into pet sitting formally, so I got my certificate for pet first aid in Summer 2023 in Berkeley Humane. I have a car and WILL take your pets to play in the park (if permitted). 😉

I trust Karin with my dogs because she’s attentive to detail and has a great feel for animals. She regularly updates me with pictures and videos to make me feel closer to my pets whenever I leave them with Karin. She has an incredible sense when everything’s smooth, but also alert when something’s not quite right. Overall, animals just feel comfortable being in her presence.
Karin has been such an amazing, active and caring dog sitter.She took care of my dog, Mocca, several times and I have never been more than satisfied with her service. She not only follows a regular schedule for her- eating, sleeping and walking, but also trains and brings her to the park. She would also give me updates. She would send me pictures and videos. She also loves baking treats for them. She is an amazing cook. I recommend her!!

I would appreciate it if I got a heads up for anything (even the smallest things). It would also be preferred if you can give me your preference for animal clinics or an emergency vet number that I could reach.
A typical day
On the weekends, I like to go for a hike or to a park. I enjoy training dogs and teaching them new commands. For birds, I would prefer if they had a leash since I don’t think they’ll respond to my voice and will search for the owner. On weekdays, I rarely go out of town because of my schedule. However, I like to go to the parks in Berkeley for refreshment.

I am a senior at UC Berkeley. I prefer to pet sit in the weekends so that I can be more focused on taking care of your cutie(s). I am an international student (so, I rarely go out of town on the weekends).
