I have had animals all my life, mainly dogs and cats. I currently have a mini-dachshund and a 108 pound Akita. I love dogs and would have a whole house full if I could have them, unfortunately my husband has capped me at two! I have a 12 year old cat I adopted last year after her owner went into an assisted living. Missy has fit into our family nicely. I have been on the board of Fenton Adopt a Pet since March and enjoy raising money for this wonderful rescue. I hate to see dogs chained or kenneled up, they should all be considered part of your family. I've always had pets in my life and will continue to do so forever. I retired 5 years ago to take care of my elderly father who lived with us, unfortunately he passed away last year and I find myself wanting to do more of what I love, that being with animals and raising money for the 3 committees that I am on at Hurley Medical Center. I would love the opportunity to work with you and your furry pet family.
