Pet care experience
I have been a dog owner for 30 years, all golden retrievers. We love to care for dogs, and know how hard it is to be able to get away and find good care for your dog. Our current golden retriever, Gracie, loves to run and play with other dogs. My previous dogs have had training, so I know the importance of consistency with commands. Your pet will get walks, play with toys, chase balls, and get lots and lots of petting. Our backyard Is approximately 1/4 acre with a four foot fenced yard that provides an area for a lot of running around. We have also fostered golden retrievers short term so our household is used to having visiting dogs for a short amount of time.

Karie was wonderful! She provided regular pictures and updates. I never worried about my dog with her because I can tell that she truly loves animals. Her dog is very, very sweet and certainly provided good companionship to my dog while he was there. Murphy had a fabulous time and I know he'd be happy to return. Great experience!
I have known Karie for over 25 years and she is an extreme dog lover. I have seen how she has treated and loved her own fur puppies. She is very conscientious and would be a great caregiver for Rover. She has even taken care of my fur puppy in the past and did an excellent job! I have seen her go the extra mile to make her fur animals feel at home. She would be excellent to be a part of the Rover team.
I've known Karie on a personal and professional basis for 25 years. Throughout this time, she has raised 3 Golden Retrievers from puppyhood to adulthood. Her dogs are her children, and they are integrated into her life, both in and out of the home. There are no time or financial constraints for Karie when it comes to ensuring that her dogs have the best medical care and home life. When interacting with other dogs, Karie treats them as she would her own. She has an innate ability to know how to do it, when to do it, and why do it. I am extremely picky about who cares for my dogs, and I would highly recommend Karie as a caregiver for your furbabies!
Karie is an animal lover! She will provide outstanding, safe, responsible and professional care for any dog lucky enough to stay with her. She has kept our dogs for years and we feel they are 100% safe with her. Karie will love every dog like her own and treat them like a part of her family. She will be a great asset to the Rover.com team.
