Pet care experience
Ryan and I will love your pups like our own! We just moved into a house in Petworth and are so excited to meet the neighborhood canines! Your dog will have two friends - Blitz and Julius. Blitz is a gentle and sweet big guy, while Julius runs around nonstop. There are plenty of treats & toys to go around! Ryan works from home full-time, and I work from home Mon, Wed, Fri, so we are super flexible with times and can provide frequent potty breaks. If your pup likes to be active, we love to go on walks, to the dog park, and play fetch. We have been caring for dogs for most of our lives and have experience with different personalities and health issues. If you have any specific questions/concerns, don't hesitate to reach out.

Kari & Ryan watched Harper for 3 weeks while I was on my “vacation of a lifetime” and I don’t know know who had a better time: me or my dog! Following another rover sitter who cancelled last minute, they swooped in and saved the day - doing a meet & greet and “practice” sleepover before the big trip to make sure Harper jived with their family. (Probably more for my own peace of mind than anything!) And boy did they take such good care of Harper! They were so thoughtful in sending me update pictures and telling me how she was doing; Harper is a pretty serious girl, but I could tell how comfortable she felt with Kari & Ryan when she was getting belly rubs on day 2!! When I picked her up, I could tell she was sad to leave and I was so happy she had made new friends. It’s a rarity to find others who care for your pet at the same level as you do, and Kari and Ryan do just that. I want to keep them for myself, but gladly recommend them to others looking for exemplary pet care. Thank you Kari and Ryan!!
Kari and her husband were absolutely wonderful! They sent updates, we’re very responsive and took such good care of our pit bull baby :) She had the best time playing with their dogs and in their front yard. I will absolutely have Iza stay with them again and would recommend them to anyone!

Harper had her “first date” with Kari and Ryan yesterday and it was absolutely delightful. It’s clear how much they care about their own pets and extended that care and concern to my dog Harper; they were so patient and kind with Harper who is more a human dog than a dog dog. I could also tell how patient and kind with me - I don’t leave my dog that often and will be leaving her with them for an extended stay while on vacation and this was a great try out for both Harper and I. Really looking forward to booking again and making new friends!
