Pet care experience
Recently taking a break from the corporate world and I will be home 24/7. I live in a luxury high rise on the UWS with riverside park and a dog park across the street. It’s a large 530 square foot studio alcove. My dogs are super friendly with other dogs but just get excited upon meeting. (I’m a bad trainer I guess, lol!) Being a dog mom, I know it can be stressful to go away for extended periods of time. I will be happy to send pics, texts, and videos throughout the day to keep you updated. I look forward to hosting your dog!

Kari is more than fabulous! The accommodations and mood at her house are so welcoming that I wanted to stay there instead of my hound dog! Kari is a true dog person and is serious about her role in watching over your pet. The huge backyard was a wonderland (kind of like Disney for dogs) -- so many new smells to sniff. Kari makes sure to know every detail about your pet's needs; and when you leave your pet with her, you just feel so good knowing they are in the perfect place. I cannot recommend her enough. She is tops! And you'll also fall in love with her two bulldogs!
Kari has been a sitter for my dog Moosie many times (at least 10), and I recommend her with full confidence to other dog owners in the DC/NOVA area. She clearly treated my fur baby with the same love and care she does her own dogs - I always returned from my travels to find a happy, healthy pet. Also, she was good about sending me pictures and letting me know if she had any questions. Kari is super friendly and dependable.

A typical day
Riverside Park dog park, Central Park (12 min walk from my home.) Everything is central and super walkable since I live on the quieter part of the Upper West Side.

Availability
Currently not working so I can accommodate whatever schedule your dog needs. I tend to wake up early around 6am and go to bed around 11pm so they are cared for all day.
