Pet care experience
When I was growing up, we had lots of cats (and I've got experience taking care of horses), but I've helped my friends and family take care of their dogs since I was 16. I have so much love for animals, and I promise you your pet will be in safe hands! I will also match your pet's energy. Hyper? No problem! I'll make sure to tire them. (I am very active - so can easily take them on a hike, park, etc.) Chill? No problem, we'll watch Netflix!

This was our first time working with Kari (and Seth) for a house sitting gig. We very carefully choose our sitters. Dogs were happy, communication was perfect and house was spotless. Definitely recommend for anyone looking.
Did a second meet and greet to meet Seth in preparation for working together on their first house sitting for us. Everything felt great about working with them and the dogs love them.
Sociable and confident around our dogs. Our big girl Nylie took to her right away snuggling up and playing. Both dogs were excited to meet her and go for a walk.
Kari and Seth watched our 2 dogs this holiday season and we felt so comfortable knowing they were in such good hands after our first meet and greet! They sent us pictures of them cuddling up and we know our dogs were just soaking up all their love. They were attentive to our dogs needs (anxiety and skin issues) and respected our home. We will definitely book again!

It is important for me to know their routine and schedule ahead of time. There are times when I do need to be away for classes, but my partner Seth can cover for me while I am away!
A typical day
It all depends on the dogs' needs. I will make sure to be in touch with the owner to provide the best care possible! If the dog is high-energy, we will most likely go to the beaches and/or dog parks if approved by the owner! I can also take them on my daily run. But if the dog is senior, we will take it easy.

I am currently in my master's program at the Middlebury university in Monterey. Some of my classes are online, and some are on campus. Often, my partner, Seth helps me with Rover requests, just as I help him (he's also a verified Rover sitter!)
