I've been caring for dogs ever since I was old enough to hold a scoop of dog food. probably since I was about 5 years old. I grew up in a rural neighborhood with lots of animals! My family had three dogs, (two Australian Shepards, and a Yellow Lab) a couple of cats, we had horses, a cockatiel, chickens, and even a couple of turtles. In addition to feeding, cleaning up after, and caring for my family's animals, I would often take care of the neighbors animals while they were away, which included feeding and cleaning up after horses, sheep, chickens, pigs, goats, dogs, and cats. As a teenager, I volunteered at the Helen Woodward Animal center in the equestrian hospital taking care of sick and injured horses. Needless to say, I am an animal lover! I am very comfortable around dogs of all shapes and sizes, and have experience with providing specific care regimes, such as specific foods, giving medicines, bathing, ect... All through college, I worked as a nanny and babysitter and have developed a long standing trusting relationship with several families. I have been a house sitter numerous times for up to two weeks at a time. I am an extremely experienced dog sitter and house sitter, and would love to take care of your beloved pets while you're away.
