Pet care experience
I have over 13 years experience caring for dogs from puppies to seniors. I am home full time but if I do have to go out, my husband will be home so your baby will not be left alone. I have a Maltipoo dog that loves to play and will be great company for your dog. He is also a retired therapy dog so he knows when to play and when to relax. We used to go to various rehabilitation and senior homes in the area with The Alliance of Therapy dogs to have visits that brought joy and smiles to the people that can’t get out much anymore. Due to COVID, these visits were suspended and Casper has since retired from this activity. Dogs are a great blessing and I have a lot of love to give them. We have a fenced yard and that we can play in when the weather permits. We will go on walks and I provide homemade organic dog treats if it’s okay with the doggy parents.

We are so thankful to have found Kari to dog sit our 7 lb. Peekapoo puppy. Kari is so much more than just a dog sitter, she is a dog “carer.” Her knowledge of dogs and how to handle our extremely timid and fearful dog put me at ease immediately. Her prompt communication and numerous photos were a real pleasure. Plus she got Molly to be at ease with her dog Casper! That is nothing short of a miracle! If I could give 10 stars I would. Current vaccination, heart worm and flea prevention information is required for all doggy daycare or dog boarding requests. Does the dog have any special requirements? Is the dog crate trained for sleeping at night? Dogs over 25 pounds will be on a case by case basis. I will not accept Pit Bulls, Bulldogs or any mix of these breeds.
A typical day
We will walk at least twice daily. Homemade organic dog treats for the doggies with pet parent permission. Casper will love to play with your dog or just lay back and relax. I offer full time love and attention for your dog. Doggy Daycare is for a six to eight hour period. Dog Boarding is for a twenty four hour period. Dog Walks and Drop in Visits are thirty or sixty minutes. Depending on drop off and pick up times, an additional fee may apply. For overnight stays, dogs must be crate trained for bedtime. During the day, they will not be in their crate.
