Pet care experience
I have worked in a doggie daycare and vet tech in the past. Currently Part time in Medical field as a surgical technologist for cataract surgery. Owned pets all my life and grew up on a farm in Northern Michigan.

Kari has pet sit for me for over a week on two occasions. My cat is very shy and will not come out for almost anyone. I received pictures and updates of my kitty daily and I couldn't have asked for anything more. She was relaxed and happy. I came home to a very calm kitty and home in good order. The peace of mind having Kari in my home was the best experience.
Kari was great with our furbaby. I didn’t worry at all. I received lots of pics. She took him for many walks, played catch with him and made sure he had plenty of water. I would highly recommend Kari and I will be using her again.
Kari is a compassionate and loving person to all animals. She spent some time In Panamá and was excited to be a volunteer with Panamá Andy’s rescue and sanctuary where we walked the dogs together. These pups while waiting for adoption need love, attention and some training. Kari was able to handle some of the more of excitable dogs that others were not able. Her love for cats and dogs led her to also volunteer at the spay and neuter clinic. Kari is very trustworthy and reliable. Anyone should be at ease knowing that their furbabies are safe while in her care.

Let me know any of your pets special needs and I can accommodate them. I have experience with a variety of animals, mostly cats and dogs. We have owned some reptiles though out the years. I have always had an interest in animals, since I was a child. I have volunteered at shelters, most recently in Panama at Andy's Dog Sanctuary.
A typical day
I can provide a variety of activities based on the pets needs and interests. I enjoy long walks around the neighborhood and I find some pets are the best listeners for conversations.

Availability
I am currently working part time and have lots of flexibility with my schedule. I enjoy walking dogs multiple times a day, as we both get exercise. I enjoy staying at houses when it fits my schedule, and also can do drop ins. I can also accommodate pets in my home, now.
