I have grown up with dogs, we had 2 Golden’s and a Short-Haired Pointer. I used to petsit for neighbors dogs on weekends and currently petsit for friends dogs. I have a hound mix who just celebrated his 5th birthday. We had a dog party at Madtree and homemade pup-cupcakes were a hit with Bear and his pup friends. He does not take medication but I have given him the cheese or peanut butter wrapped pill and injected insulin shots for a friends dog in the past, so I am comfortable if your pet requires that. Bear loves the outdoors like me, so we are avid hikers on weekends and long walks during the week. Bear and I are happy to accommodate new pup friends into our home. I currently work from home so I’m available all day. I have one dog, he is a 60lb hound mix named Bear, I got him from the SPCA 4 years ago. We live in a small house with a fenced in back yard. We frequent Otto Armelder dog park, Ault Park trails and take long walks around the neighborhood. Bear is mild tempered, social, and excitable. We have dog play dates with friends and he frequents Puppywood daycare on occasion, so he has a lot of experience with other dogs. I work from home so I am available throughout the day. I volunteer on Saturday mornings for a few hours usually but can be flexible if needed. I have a fenced in back yard and Bear prefers to hang outside during the workday but can be accommodating to your pets needs. Bear loves the dog park and we visit about 2-3 times a week.
