Happy Dog Happy Life!
Pet care experience
I have a house full of animals; four dogs and two elderly cats. Plus, an elder dog comes to stay regularly at my house. I LOVE animals. While I have had pets off and on for over 25 years. I only started watching other people's dogs a couple of years ago, with the elder dog I mentioned who needed daytime companionship. Recently, I responded to an ND neighbor's request for help with visiting and walking a pair of dogs, who I now visit and walk regularly. I've enjoyed getting to know the dogs so much that I decided to be a visitor and walker for other dogs in the area.

Kari is amazing! She managed to charm even my cat who hates everyone! She gave full updates daily with lots of pictures, so we could feel that our kitties were well taken care of!

Kari is great! She took care of our 4 kitties for a week while we were away. She checked in each day and sent me photos, gave me details of how they were all doing. They were much happier when we returned then they usually are. We already have scheduled to have her visit again!

A typical day
I love to see dogs happy. I pay attention to their temperaments and energy needs and try to match their needs with stimulating and enjoyable activities for them. After exploring and getting exercise, I give a nice massage to the dogs back to help encourage relaxation and happiness for the dogs.

Availability
I am a knowledge worker. I spend my days writing, researching & coaching people. Caring for animals allows me to freshen my perspectives and get daily exercise by shaking up my work routine. I write and research early in the morning, and I coach people a few days a week. It leaves plenty of time for me to do something else while helping local people and their animals out. I love the variety and physical movement dog care provides me.
