Pet care experience
I've owned and taken care of dogs my entire life. I have walked my own dogs since I was capable/strong enough (probably 7 years old knowing me), as well as walking friends' dogs for the fun of it! I have pet/house sat for family friends since I was 13, so I am well-experienced and enjoy it thoroughly. In addition to those, in my free time up at school in East Lansing, I volunteer at the Capital Area Humane Society!

Karenna is a very caring and conscientious person. She loves animals and treats my dog like her own. She is responsible and always eager to spend time with and look after my dog, which I greatly appreciate.
Karenna is very good with handling both calm and excited dogs. Her family owns a very strong, hyperactive chocolate lab, and she is able to not only handle the dog’s energy, but also redirect the dog into playing with a toy.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors that I can account for. I have no preference for breeds, as I have worked with dogs of all sizes and personalities. My dogs growing up were all large (60-90lbs), so I am well-versed in handling a strong pup on walks and runs.
A typical day
I love to stimulate dogs both physically and mentally. We‘ll play a bunch of games and check out all the sights and smells of the neighborhood. I study geography, so I’ll even look at maps of nearby parks prior to my visit to scout the best spots for walks/playtime. I love taken the beaten path and trails, being a runner and hiker myself, so I’m sure your dog would love to explore the outdoors with me.

Availability
I go back to school (Michigan State University) in late-August, so this is all I'm up to until then, meaning my availability is almost always open. I'm incredibly flexible and can work with you and your pet(s) as long as you communicate what you want & need!
