Pet care experience
I have owned my cat for the last 14 years and have taken care of her since I was about 8! My cat has been living with me at my college apartment for the last 1.5 years, so I have been taking care of her pretty much independently! I am comfortable administering medicine (orally) to both cats and dogs, as my cat has to take blood pressure medicine and my dog has been on medication before. Additionally, I have had my dog (who is an energetic, derpy husky) for the last 7 years an have taken great care of him as well. I am comfortable walking leash-pullers (as my dog is one).

Karen’s did a wonderful job watching my two kids- I mean my two cats ?! My cats loved her after the very first day and she made sure they ate and played, and was communicating with me throughout the weekend. My cats are shelter cats with abuse history, so I was very pleased with how quickly they warmed up to her. I would absolutely recommend her to a friend.
Karenna did an amazing job caring for our dog! She was super communicative, sending photos and asking about a few behavioral things to make sure everything was on track. She also checked in on a house issue (some ants had made their way inside) and was prepared to deal with it. I would highly recommend Karenna, and hope we get a chance to book her again sometime soon!
I have lived with Karenna and her cat for a year, and can only say that she is a wonderful pet mom. As well as having her family dog over at our place occasionally, she takes on all of the responsibilities of taking care of the animals while maintaining a clean and organized living space. It's probably the most spoiled cat I've ever seen, and for long as I've lived with her she's been a great communicator about the animals needs and making sure the kitty is safe and loved :)
I highly recommend Karenna as a pet sitter. She is incredibly dedicated to caring for her animals and their unique quirks and needs. The animal's health and well-being are her top priority. She consistently goes beyond basic care and makes sure to give individualized attention whenever she can.

Please let me know for any special needs/behaviors that your dogs or cats have in advance. Anything you can think of - door scratching, jumping on people, doesn't do well with children, etc. I am very understanding and flexible and will accommodate your furbaby to the best of my ability!
A typical day
I love taking dogs to enclosed parks (if able) so that they are able to play and socialize with other pups. I love taking my dog to Pawpoint Dog Park where he can run around freely and wade in an enclosed area of the lake.

I'm currently a senior in college and looking for full-time employment and am primarily at college at UMD for most of the year, but have some free time on the weekends to care for some furbabies :)
