Pet care experience
I started Pet Sitting before I was a teenager and have continued ever since. I had my own pet sitting business for several years and have been reliable, trustworthy and provided peace of mind to all my clients. I've raised Guide Dogs for the Blind and have years of experience in positive training techniques. I've worked with kennel dogs, rescued dogs, all high energy, with very little training. Providing them with skills for future careers as search and rescue or police dogs. I specialize in multiple-pet households. The more the merrier! There is nothing more valuable than peace of mind provided to your furkids. I am also available for farm care, including horses, cattle, ducks, chickens, goats, etc. I am patient and kind and treat all my clients as individuals. Please feel free to ask for any kind of service you might need including training advice, housekeeping, or taxi services for your pet.

I've known Karen and her canine care giving skills for 20 plus years now. I'd invite her into not just my home, but the care and training of my dogs in an instant. Her character and knowledge paired together make her a high caliber choice in meeting the needs of her clients, both four legged and their humans. Her graciousness and humble light hearted ways in dealing with both also make her a joy to work with. As a side note, I can also attest to the fact, that she has genuine skills in working with families where special need children and adults require some additional understanding and fluidity. Something hard to find and refreshing in my personal experience as a parent to multiple differently abled kiddos. Zero reasons to hesitate using her in my experience.
Karen is an avid dog person. She was a puppy raiser for Guide Dogs for the Blind, and she has owned and trained many dogs. She is also an equestrian, having worked in Hippotherapy in Oregon. Karen loves kitties too! She is in my opinion gifted with animals and will take the very best care of yours!
Karen is incredibly sweet and has watched my puppies before. She really cares about her clients and the dogs. You know they'll be well taken care of and sage in Karen's care!

A typical day
Activity choices will always depend on the dog! If they like the dog park, I am capable of keeping them safe there. Often dogs like to stay close to home, smelling the doggie newspaper on the routes where neighboring dogs live. Tug of war, hide and seek, whatever their hearts desire, I'll discover it and provide it.
