Little Lady Dog Sitter For Cheery Little Dog Care

Pet care experience

I work part time from home so plenty of attention during your pet’s stay with us. Both myself and my husband have grown up around dogs, we have also had two family dogs over the past 20 years or so, but sadly our last fur baby left us for Rainbow Bridge seven years ago, aged 14. We have hosted dogs belonging to family and friends, for day visits, overnight stays and special trips to the seaside.

Our dog Buddy is anxious and it was the first time we had left him with someone new, Karen was totally understanding of Buddy’s needs showing she genuinely cares about his well-being which really helped us knowing he was safe and cared for.

We left Dora with Karen for a week and we are over the moon with the service we received, they are lovely people and they have a lovely home, it really was a ‘home from home’ for Dora and she settled straight away, it was like she had her own little holiday. We won’t hesitate to to ask Karen to look after Dora again in the future, we won’t be going anywhere else!

Karen and I have been around dogs all our lives, either our own or belonging to family. Karen has plenty of experience with dogs of all ages. Karen is kind and loving and will give your dog plenty of the attention he or she deserves.

Our home has a secure and fenced garden accessible from the kitchen via patio doors which are open most of the day, weather permitting, for your dog to enjoy the garden. The kitchen is the heart of our home, so rest assured your dog will be part of the family during his/her stay. The room provides a cosy corner where your furbaby is able to snuggle in their bed if they feel the need to nap in between exploring new places, enjoying a new social life and playing with favourite toys. Within 5 minutes of our home we have open countryside for walks, a run a round or a game of fetch.

Information Karen W. would like to know about your pet

Are they happy to meet other dogs ? How are they with other people ? Any anxieties ? Any medical requirements ? Any allergies ? Are they house trained ? Food preferences ? Are they happy to sleep in their own bed ? And anything else which is unique to your little pooch and their routine to ensure they are settled and content in our home.

A typical day

For overnight boarders the day begins with a morning walk. During the day our secure garden offers space for chasing a ball, sniffing out the new environment or lazing around on the lawn. Lunchtime we enjoy more socialising with a local walk to meet new doggie friends and other humans, whilst early evening we have a longer walk. Weekend walks are varied and often include a seaside trip - time for digging, running on the beach and a paddle in the sea. At the end of the day, there’s lots of tummy tickles and chill out times before bedtime. Please note - we do not allow dogs on our beds.
