Pet care experience
Ever since I was little I have rescued all kinds of animals. At the moment I have two rescue cats and two rescue dogs. Being rescues you do not always know their past so I find it very important to earn their trust. They need lots of love, patience, understanding and hugs. I’ve always been told I have a way with animals and that’s probably true since I always feel so comfortable with them and seem to understand what they’re trying to tell me. When I worked I had to have Pet Sitters so I understand the difficulty of leaving your babies at home. It’s much easier if you trust your pet sitter and know your dog is happy with that person. You would receive daily updates and pictures and you should feel free to call or text me at any time.

We highly reccomend Karen to take care of your animals! She is caring, punctual, dependable, and trust worthy. We feel that this is not merely a job for her, it's a passion that she sure truly enjoys! We will certainly use Karen again in the future.
Karen Valentine is wonderful. She stopped by to meet us and our Babies. We all fell in love with her within two minutes!!! Especially Beamer, who is an abused Miniature Pincer (by her former owners, to the extent that, to get rid of her, they threw her in a dumpster and broke her hip). Beamer doesn’t trust strangers, but, she immediately sensed how much Karen loved her and she settled down!!! Both Babies required 2 insulin shots per day. Karen gave those with no problem. While we were gone, she sent us texts with reports of how they were doing!!! She even sent pictures....on the 2nd day she spent extra time with them, cuddling them. The Babies fell asleep on the couch!!! Karen texted us they looked so comfortable she hated to move them. She did move them to their beds, thankfully, because Beamer can’t jump down from the couch because of her hip. Karen has excellent judgement. We will definitely hire her again. We highly recommend her to everyone who reads this.
Karen is lovely and my pack of 4 greyhounds took to her right away one of them is very shy and cautious foster dog who is afraid of her own shadow however she was thrilled with Karen. I would recommend karen in a heartbeat
Karen would make a fantastic pet sitter! She is dependable and loves all animals. She is a great pet mom to all of her rescues.

Your pets will be spoiled. I will walk, feed, cuddle and play with them. They will have my full attention while I am with them.
Information Karen V. would like to know about your pet
Visiting a home before taking over the responsibility of somebody’s animals is very important. I need to know the food they are eating and how much/often, any medical issues, any medications, name of their preferred vet plus a letter authorizing me to have the dog receive medical attention. I need to meet the dog because this makes it much easier for both the dog and myself when I come to the house for the first time and his parents aren’t home. I also would like to know any major concerns the owner may have for their dog such as anxiety etc. preference
A typical day
I love doing nature trails. There are so many new smells for dogs to check out.I also love playing ball with dogs but basically it depends on what your dogs like to do.

I am retired which gives me plenty of time to devote to your special babies. This works especially well with animals that have separation anxiety.
