Karen would make a fantastic pet sitter! She is dependable and loves all animals. She is a great pet mom to all of her rescues.

Karen V has been my best friend since the day we met back in 1978. Over the years, she has had many pets: dogs, cats, rabbits, fish. They always choose her! She adopts her babies from shelters and gives them the love they need. She has always made sure that her fur babies were (and currently are) taken care of, with yearly vet checkups, and immediate vet visits if something is wrong. She takes care ...

Karen V would make an exceptional dog sitter. She is very intuitive when it comes to her animals' well being and doesn't hesitate to call/visit the Vet if there's a concern. She truly loves spending time with animals, and they seem drawn to her as well. She is a very patient and loving pet parent. I highly recommend Karen V - you could not ask for a better dog sitter.

Retired and home full time.

Being rescues you do not always know their past so I find it very important to earn their trust. They need lots of love, patience, understanding and hugs. I’ve always been told I have a way with animals and that’s probably true since I always feel so comfortable with ...

What Karen would like to know about your dog

Visiting a home before taking over the responsibility of somebody’s animals is very important. I need to know the food they are eating and how much/often, any medical issues, any medications, name of their preferred vet plus a letter authorizing me to have the dog receive medical attention. I need to meet the dog because this makes it much easier for both the dog and myself when I come to the house for the first time and his parents aren’t home. I also would like to know any major concerns the owner may have for their dog such as anxiety etc. I have no breed preference
