Pet care experience
Although not currently a dog owner, I've always had dogs. Sometimes more than one at a time. Both large and small. In addition, cats have always shared my home, and eveyone has gotten along. I've walked at least 2 miles daily for the past 25 years along the highline canal or in a beautiful nearby park. Canine companionship significantly enhances the experience. I have a great love for all animals. I'm also a nature photographer.

Karen has been our dog sitter of choice since 2009 for overnights, short stays, and a full month every summer. She is also happy to oblige with a walk when needed. We never have any qualms about leaving our boy with her; she adores dogs, is unfailingly caring and responsible, and he is always ecstatic to see her. We couldn't ask for more.
Karen is absolutely fabulous. I have known her for over 20 years and she is well known in our community as a lover of animals, especially dogs and cats. My husband and I recently went on a 8 day vacation abroad while Karen was the caregiver for our 2 year old Schipperke, Gracie. I must say Gracie received special love and treatment. Gracie adjusted very well and Karen enjoyed the bond they had during this time. She walked Gracie regularly - at least twice daily for 2 miles, played with her and gave her plenty of attention. Gracie saw Karen today and was so excited to see her "Auntie Karen". I would never hesitate to entrust Karen with Gracie for any length of time. I would highly recommend Karen as a dog sitter and she would definitely be an asset to your organization.
