Karen is wonderful with my high maintenance schnauzer. I have a very demanding, quirky and slightly spoiled boy that she has helped care for as needed for years. She has taken care of him when planned but also provided care when needed when an emergency situation has came up. She is always helpful and will rearrange her schedule to help me out. My boy could be slightly aggressive to strangers sometimes. When they first met Karen was not timid about trying to bond with him. She never appeared scared of him or concerned. He was wrapped around her finger within a few minutes. He is usually not good on a walk because of barking at anything that moves. Karen would take him for walks to despite his barking and leash pulling. She learned instantly about his quirks, personality and his schedule. She has done a great job to despite his high level of care. He has even more needs as he has got older. He is now 16 1/2 years old. He gets even more picky with food. Karen has even hand feed him to get him to eat. She is always very calm and laid back for any situation that comes up. She is always dependable, trustworthy and kind to animals. She has a natural ability to work with them and gives love to any animal. Karen is great with communicating with me about how my boy did and sticks to his schedule no matter what because he is a creature of habit. She has provided care for a few hours and even overnight and did well with him. I can honestly say there are very few people that I can leave my dog with and Karen is one of those people. I never worry when she is caring for him. Always professional, dependable and I honestly don’t know what we would do without her.
