I grew up with a medium sized dog and a greyhound and then owned 2 labs. My husband or I are home almost all the time and have a fenced in back yard with no kids and no other pets, so your animals will get all our love. My husband is a dog lover as well. I am a full-time pet sitter and my husband works in the medical field and works evenings and half day mornings, so your pet will be left alone with limited hours during the day. I am an extremely active person and will definitely walk, run, and play with your dog multiple times a day if needed. My house has 2 floors, but I have a baby gate to separate dogs if there are multiple dogs staying in the house-1 for the first floor and one for the 2nd floor to prevent any issues while still giving them space and freedom. I have wood floors with rugs for the comfort of all dogs. Pets are allowed on my furniture unless you do not want that. Your loved one will be loved like my own while you are away.
