I love dogs and dogs love me! Dogs are a part of our families and since our dogs can't go with us everywhere, let me treat your dog like family. I taught in public schools for 15 years so I know a thing or two about caring for other people's babies, only this time around it's your fur-baby. I am reliable, organized, gentle, and patient, but will also show your dog a good time. My hours are flexible and you will be able to rest easy knowing your dog is in good hands. Your dog's safety and well-being are my number one concern. While you are away, you can be sure your dog will be loved and cared for, just like one of my family members!

Karen S is an amazing dog sitter/caregiver. I would highly recommend her to anyone. I have used her several times and she’s the only one I would use now. My dog has arthritis in her hips but still enjoys going on short walks. Karen allows her to take her time during their walks, she cleans up after her, and is friendly to my neighbors too!

I would like to meet your pet prior to you leaving. I need to know your pet's daily routine, where you keep the pet food, favorite treats, any medication or special food your dog requires. I'll also ask for your vet, just in case of an emergency. I also need to know any special circumstances about entering and leaving your home.
A typical day
I enjoy walking dogs around their own neighborhood so they are familiar with their surroundings and will not be nervous with me. I also enjoy taking the road less traveled, so as your dog feels more comfortable, we will venture out to get some extra exercise. I also love to play fetch with dogs and believe in making your dog feel relaxed and safe by giving them lots of love and lots of pets!
