Pet care experience
I have experience with dogs ranging in size from Yorkie to mastiff, as well as cats and small exotics. I personally have had a Yorkie, 2 mixed breeds (medium size), an American pit bull terrier, a hedgehog, 2 rats, 2 guinea pigs, 2 rabbits, and a cat (not all at once—some I adopted at very old ages). My pit bull terrier has a condition that requires several daily pills, so I’m used to delivering that medication on a set schedule. In my hedgehog’s old age (and same for both rats), there was a lot of hand feeding, watering, and syringing liquid medicines. I’m more than happy to learn how to help even your aging or sick pets!

Karen was great with our two dogs! She stayed with them the whole time we were away, brushed their coats, and worked on their training and agility jumps for exercise. She also kept the house clean. There were lots of daily pictures and videos, which is exactly what we wanted.
Karen was Wonderful with my 2 fur babies! It was short notice and she was able, caring and very loving to them. Karen made sure that they ate and gave them lots of attention. My pups are young and active so they need a lot stimulation. Karen was super with them and they were very happy and tired when we came home! Thank you Karen, we will definitely use her again ?

Karen did an amazing job with my pets and went above and beyond what was expected to make sure they were taken care of AND happy. 10/10 will be reaching out to her again the next time I need a pet sitter. Great with my dog and if you’ve got small animals she’s your girl. Knowledgeable about their care and happy to follow all my probably overly complicated feeding schedules.

I always like to cover the basics, so in addition to activity levels, house rules, and daily schedules, I will make sure I know any special feeding tendencies, medication schedules, or restricted home areas. Please also let me know of any special cases like elderly, sick, weak, or especially nervous pets.
A typical day
I’m a fan of play time, so the more toys the better! I love playing tug of war and fetch in the yard, and the ideal schedule for them would include a walk through the neighborhood. If there is a specific activity your pet loves like peanut butter toys or performing tricks for treats, let me know. My goal of course is for them to have fun in my care!
