I've lived with medium to large breed dogs and cats all my life. Over the years I've owned a Dachshund, German Shepherd, English Setter, Collie, lab mix and my current fur babies are both golden retrievers whom I've loved and cared for since they were 6 weeks old, successfully housebreaking and teaching them various tricks. I will only allow healthy dogs with up-to-date shots to interact with my dogs. My dogs have several food sensitivities and are on strict diets. They eat their dog food and their occasional treats consist of eggs, raw carrots or green beans. And the only dog toys allowed in my home are indestructible things like Kongs or Chuck-it balls. I have a large fenced back yard and I scoop poop on a daily basis. I am not comfortable around Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Bulldogs, Dobermans or any other dogs who possess an aggressive nature. I've had indoor and indoor/outdoor cats, with and without claws, and each had their own quirky personality so I know that no two are alike. I believe a clean litter box lessens the chance of them doing their business elsewhere in the house but there's an exception to every rule. I will not watch cats in my home at this time but I can care for them in yours.
