Pet care experience
I have been caring for dogs and the proud owner of several dogs for over 30 years. After the passing of my last dog, I started sitting and walking dogs. I am mature and responsible and always communicate any concerns, small or large. Currently, I can walk dogs that are well-trained on a leash and can do drop-ins to feed or let dogs out. At this time, I am not boarding but hope to have my yard set up for boarding by next year.

Karen is a jewel! Our dog, Ruby, is a special needs rescue and maybe just a bit spoiled :) She took great care of Ruby! Ruby was happy to see us but I am sure she is missing Karen! We were able to enjoy our vacation with no worries about how Ruby was doing. I highly recommend Karen to care for your pup!
Karen is wonderful!!! She is accommodating, responsible, and trustworthy. And a reliable communicator. When Karen does a drop-in, I’m confident I won’t come home to an accident or a stressed out pup!
Karen did a fantastic job caring for George. He is young and energetic, and has some issues with anxiety when we travel. Karen adapted to his needs and found ways to get him the exercise he needed without triggering his anxiety. She also did a great job taking care of the house and chickens while we were away. I highly recommend her!

A typical day
I love giving and receiving love in return. I am happy to feed, water, play, potty, walk and medicate as necessary. I look forward to hanging out with your buddy. I will only walk your dog from your home. I do not transport them to other areas for walks.

Availability
In general, I am a better once-in-a-while or backup person as my husband and I travel often, particularly from late fall through early winter. I do not have any other work obligations and am working on my art business. My schedule may vary from what is listed but generally, I am available late morning through midday.
