Bachelor degree in animal science, with past experience as a vet tech and zookeeper. Now working in the medical field. Enjoy working with dogs, horses and special needs or elderly pets. I can administer medications (oral, topical, rectal, injectible), care for drains, wounds, supplements, or anything needed. I have 4 acres and plenty of room to run with fenced area. Have separate rooms, indoor and outdoor kennels too depending on what your dog is used to. My dogs stay inside with me, have several dog beds but usually end up in mine :-) As a pet owner I have high expectations on the care of my animals and exhibit this with the animals I care for. Will gladly keep a journal of your pets daily activity, intake and output, and answer calls for check in via phone, can send texts and pictures to keep you updated so you can relax knowing your pet is well cared for while you are away. The dogs love being in the peacefulness of the country, ability to watch over the horses in nearby pasture, and the individualized care they receive as I only board a small amount of dogs giving you the piece of mind they will come home rested and without the anxiety of a kennel-type of environment.
