Pet care experience
As an experienced pet owner and caregiver, I have had the privilege of raising two pitties for the past 9 years. Throughout this journey, I have encountered and effectively managed various complex health issues that each of my beloved companions faced. These experiences have undoubtedly set me apart from other pet sitters and have equipped me with a unique set of skills. In 2017, I made the decision to enroll both of my pibbles in a two-week immersion dog training program with IQK9 in San Diego, CA. During this program, not only did my dogs undergo training, but I also received specialized training on how to communicate effectively with them. This training has proven invaluable in understanding and addressing their needs, ensuring a harmonious and enriching relationship. One of the main challenges I have faced with my dogs is their health conditions, including food and environmental allergies. Consequently, I have developed a mildly strict health diet to manage their allergies and promote their well-being. My commitment to their dietary needs has made a significant difference in their overall health and happiness. Additionally, my youngest boy has undergone three knee surgeries, all before the age of 5, making his situation particularly complex. Through these medical challenges, I have learned how to provide specialized care, post-surgery recovery support, and the importance of patience and attentiveness in their healing process. The experience of raising two pitbulls has given me an exceptional skill set that many pet owners would highly value. Patience has become second nature to me, especially when dealing with various health issues and behavior training. In addition, I also had the privilege of providing pet care services during my time in the military. As my fellow peers deployed to other countries, I took on the responsibility of caring for several pets left behind, with periods ranging from three months to a year. This experience exposed me to a diverse range of animals and their unique needs, further enhancing my pet care skills.

Spending quality time with them, petting, cuddling, and engaging in interactive play builds trust and strengthens our bond. It's essential for pets to feel loved and emotionally fulfilled during their time with me. Clear Communication with Pet Owners: Effective communication with pet owners is a priority for me. I keep them updated about their pets' activities, behaviors, and well-being through regular messages, photos, or videos. Open communication ensures that pet owners are well-informed and at ease while their furry friends are in my care.
