Pet care experience
Experienced owner of two cats who has had training and experience working with a variety of shelter pets from young to old. I love walking and outdoors as much as the pets that I sit and walk. I'm originally from the the Midwest, so I have no problem walking on rainy or cold days. Experienced in positive reinforcement pet training as well. My volunteer work at the animal shelter has allowed me to work with a variety of animals with very different temperaments, personalities, and backgrounds. Responsible and reliable and will care for pets like they are my own. I understand that you are entrusting me with someone very precious and that each pet is unique with unique needs. I will do everything that I can to give them the utmost care and love.

This was our first time using Karen as a pet sitter and I have to say she’s amazing! She’s very personable, on time, and of course the cats love her. Will definitely be using her again in the near future!
Karen is the best!!! She cared for our 3 cats while we were away for a week like they were her own babies! One of our boys has IBD and asthma and she was able to administer his medication everyday with no problems. He also tends to get really anxious when we are away but he seemed so calm and happy with Karen! We really enjoyed receiving the thorough updates and photos from her twice a day and could tell our little loves were having so much fun 🥰🥰🥰. Additionally, we unexpectedly came home to a very clean home with no fur or litter in sight (our boys are usually very messy lol). We could tell that Karen took care of our home, as well, which was an added plus as we didn’t even request any cleanup! We will DEFINITELY be contacting Karen again when we need a sitter. She’s our go-to now! Thank you so much Karen!!!
We had an amazing first experience with Karen watching our two girls for 4 nights - a senior chihuahua mix and a very opinionated 5 year old lab/pit/shepherd mix. We left lengthy instructions and she followed them to a tee, took the dogs out on walks, fed them, and barely left them alone for her whole stay! She was great about sending two updates per day with many pics, which made us feel so relieved that our babies were in good hands. The house even seems cleaner than when we left. Thanks so much, Karen. We really appreciated your care and attention to the girls and will definitely reach out in the future!
Karen took care of our cat when we were on a trip. She was great from the beginning, very responsive to messages, and the process has been very smooth. She took great care of our cat during our trip, left thoughtful messages and pictures each time, and helped us to take care of our place a bit to make sure it is safe for our cat too! Our cat tend to be a little shy but really enjoyed her company. Karen has been very kind and helpful, and she helped tremendously to ease our worries for our cat when we are gone. We really appreciate working with her!!
