Hi there, I'm Karen, your dog's second best friend! I love everything about dogs. Their loyalty, their unbridled happiness and the value they place on friendship make me strive to be a better person every day! I provide walking, drop in, day care and house sitting services, and I can't wait to meet you and your dog! The first thing you should know about me is that I am really passionate about animals. I always had dogs. I love them more than I love people (oops, did I just say that?). I have volunteered at different animal shelters (both here in the US and back in Argentina) and learned how to socialize them, how to properly walk them and some training protocols. Each dog is an individual and I will treat them like the unique beings they are. I promise to take care of them as you would! I am an animal owner and understand the worries and anxieties of leaving them/not being able to take them out for walks! I love dogs, but I also love all other animals! I've learned a lot from the variety of creatures that have walked through my life. I had a cat named Gatubela who taught me everything I know about our feline friends. I also have known several horses and for all their beauty, they are incredibly humble creatures. I love traveling, exploring new places and meeting new people is a great way to gain perspective. I always smile when I see a dog, and I can't wait to meet you and yours!

Most incredible day care experience ever. She goes out of her way with videos and picture throughout the day. She takes care of your dog as if her own. Karen gave me updates and details throughout the day, provided walks and socialization with other dogs. Her intelligence, expertise, professionalisim is far superior of that any other day care I tried in Manhattan. The dogs going to Karen's day care are treated as her children. She bakes them doggie cakes, creates birthday parties, and I'm sure it's why all dogs choose to gather all around her during the day and follow her around despite having this elaborate beautiful and clean day care she provides. Karen even reads to these dogs. They're her family!!! Truly amazing. Its very special to find such a special human being who cares just as much about your loved one and keeps them safe and secure.
Karen was super communicative and sent me all the updates on my puppy. Left him super happy with all the cuddles :)
Since 2013 Karen has watched our Boston Terrier Sam in multiple occasions. She is a pet lover and enjoys her time with animals very much. She is patient, kind and very reliable! We continue to build our relationship by taking our pets on walks and watching them enjoy their dates. We trust Karen wholeheartedly and know that whenever Sam is with her, he is in great hands! We are very lucky to have met her and continue to use her services when needed. NYC life can be challenging at times, but having her available to help makes it all better! I highly recommend her for any pet needs you may have! =)
Karen is really great with animals, all sort of them, but dogs are her true love. I initially didn't like them too much, I always thought that if you had one, you should be able to love them as much as Karen did. And I thought I didn't have that in me. But, through all our friendship I have watched her do crazy stuff for her pets (and for everybody's pets). She also got very near of being kicked out from her family's place because she used to turn it into an animal shelter! Watching her all over the years gave me the courage I needed to get my mini Dachshund, and he really changed my life!! Karen was immediately named his godmather! I would deeply recommend you to try her services. You won't regret it and your dog will either!!!

A typical day
I'm open to taking them wherever you want; if you don't have any preference, I'll take them to the park or to streets where there is not much noise. S/he will receive lots of love and attention (unless s/he's under strict training and should inly receive the right amount to avoid inappropriate behavior). If your furry friend is allowed (and don't have any allergies), I can give them home-made ice cream (which I prepare especially for my own dog) or just regular treats (which can also be home-made).
