Hi, my name is Karen and I would love to care for your special friend. I live in a mobile home park with my mini dachshund CoCo. I have a fenced in yard that would be perfect for a small to medium size dog to romp and play with mine and a doggie door to go in and out as they please. There is also a dog park located right across the street from me in a beautiful park setting. About this sitter: Hi my name is Karen and I would love to have your dog over to spend the night and play with my mini dachshund CoCo! I have thirty plus years experience working with dogs including breeding and showing Irish Setters, working for professional handlers and working at kennels. What really matters is that I truly love dogs! Why I love dog sitting I have loved dog's as far back as I can remember. My sister and I fell in love with Irish Setters in 1978 and started showing and breeding them until around ten years ago. I have worked for Frandee Kennels and Doggone Kennels (Cocker Spaniels) and was also assistant to a professional handler. In that span of time I have had several champions and have owned quite a few different breeds. I now own a Miniature Dachshund I rescued and love dearly. About my yard I have a small fenced yard and there is a doggy door that connects to a side yard for access to go in and out as the dog wants. Across the street we have a large dog park for more exercise and playing. My experience administering medication As I mentioned before I am comfortable with giving dogs their medications. I will be charging $5 extra per night for special needs dogs starting in September 2018.
