Pet care experience
When I pet sit for your family, you and your pets receive a professional pet sitter who has also worked as an animal shelter employee and volunteer, a pet retail associate, and a veterinary kennel attendant. I am skilled at giving medications (including insulin and checking glucose numbers) and subcutaneous fluids. My special interests and skills include environmental enrichment (keeping pets healthy and happy), geriatric and special needs pets, hospice and end of life care, and feral/community cat management including TNR (trap neuter return). I offer drop in visits, overnight care and house sitting, and vet transport. Your pets' well being and your peace of mind are always first and foremost in my mind. Rest assured that your furry family members will enjoy a safe, fun experience with me!

Karen has cared for my clowder for years while I'm away. She is reliable, friendly, and my cats love her. She was able to administer chemotherapy meds to my baby in my absence. I can't say enough about the care that she gave my crew in my absence!
I never have to worry when Karen takes care of my fur babies. She always spends time with them, is able to give them their meds, and is thorough in her duties. Her demeanor shows how much she cares for the animals and I was impressed with her knowledge. Now that I have found her I can relax and enjoy when I travel.
Karen has taken care of our two older cats several times. She is highly professional, caring, very reliable and takes her duties seriously. She always sends pictures and reports in to us while we're away. She's very attentive to the cats' particular habits and needs and spends time with them at every visit. It's comforting to know that our cats are well taken care of while we're away.
Karen came over to my home to meet my kitties, learn their routines and make sure it would be a good fit for all involved before I left on my trip. While I was gone, she kept me updated on how things were going with emails and photos. The kitties are in good spirits when I return home!
