Pet care experience
I have a lifetime of experience caring and sitting for my own pets as well as family and friends. I spent 3 years working in the local shelter perfecting my understanding of animal body language and behavior. In my time there I was able to learn about all different breeds and temperaments, while improving my skills in training, grooming and medicating. This environment also enhanced my ability to multi-task while handling the needs of multiple animals. I feel very lucky to have had the experience in the shelter, it helped me learn so much and truly deepened my love of animals. I have a passion for animals and feel great joy when attending to their needs and caring for them! I’m looking forward to caring for your animal as if it were my own!

Nice lady, she got along with the dogs just fine.
Karen has been pet sitting for me for several years. She is reliable and responsible. She takes time with my cats. She doesn't just feed and run. She plays with them and comforts them. She comforts me by sending videos snd photos of them. I can tell by the videos that my cats are comfortable with her as they are playing and showing affection. She has been an animal lover all of her life. She grew up with dogs and cats. She would be and is a perfect pet sitter.
Karen is great with animals and does an excellent job taking care of my dog when I travel. My dog does not trust strangers easily but she warmed up to Karen right away and is always excited to spend some time with Karen when I need to go out of town. It gives me peace of mind knowing that Karen has professional experience with animal care from working at the Humane Society, in addition to a lifetime of experience with her own pets. My dog gets eye infections from time to time so I always leave her eye ointment with Karen when she is dogsitting and it's comforting knowing that she has experience administering medication to animals. I would not trust leaving my dog with anyone else!

I am happy to check out their favorite places and activities. I love to practice tricks, so if there are any that need to be worked on I’m your girl! My dog loves to play hide and seek with his toys, it’s a great way to get the brain going and burn a little energy when stuck in the house on a rainy day.
