I am 58 years young and have always loved animals. I am the loving owner of a 3 year old Newf mix and 2 playful bunnies.

Buddy was tired & happy after his walk. So glad he does so well with Karen.
Windy days are not Buddy’s favourite walks but he will go with Karen, even if it’s not as far or as long that’s just fine with us. We don’t force Buddy to go farther because we still are dealing with lots of fear & trust issues. I forget he’s only been with us for 15 weeks & has come a long way in that time. Karen’s patience is always really appreciated.
Buddy does love to watch the garbage truck & a few other big trucks. Always loves his walks with Karen & watches for her arrival & watches her leave in the window. I never have to worry about not seeing Karen’s arrival!
Buddy does really well with Karen. We’ve discovered he has some separation anxiety when “he” leaves the house & that’s why Buddy will only go so far. He actually walk the trusts Karen & walks farthest over all of our family. Now that he marks his different paths with her, he can check out more places so that is awesome.

My husband and I typically walk our own dog 3 times a day. We like to mix up the route from walking the local neighbourhood to driving to walk the area trails.

I have retired from my full time job and took on a part time job in a completely different direction. Working part time has given me the opportunity to take on my dream job of spending quality time with furry friends.
