Pet care experience
Hi. I am Karen and I have been caring for animals since I was old enough to go outside and have them “ follow me home”. My parents were so patient.. I have had my own pets from hamsters to horses and even kept a community fish tank for several years. My husband and I have fostered shelter pets for rescues for the last 7 years and when we foster failed 1 too many times we started helping by playing with and walking dogs that were being boarded while looking for a foster or adopter. We have had at least 35-40 dogs and 3 cats go through us to find a new and loving family and continue to help with cat foster in our home. I am an RN that decided to stop caring for people in the medical field and start caring for people and their pets instead. I love what I do! I am a member of PSA( pet sitters associates).

Karen was amazing! We have three dogs ranging from 1yr - 10yrs and we’ve never left them with anyone but family or friends until now. Karen was so reliable and the communication and updates and pictures made me so much more comfortable while we were gone!
Karen is amazing! She's kind and you can tell she really loves all animals! She agreed to care for our dog AND pet tarantula (not many people would). She took the time to help our sweet old dog Noodle make the adjustments to our absence, to make sure he knew he was loved while we were gone. She loved on him, gave him treats and spent time with him hanging out. Karen sent photos and sent updates everyday and that is in itself peace of mind when you're thousands of miles away with a huge time difference. She helped us feel less stressed knowing he was in good hands. We will book with Karen every time!
Karen was excellent to work with. She was not only great with my dogs but very communicative which I appreciated!

I love taking them “ off road” to parks or green areas if available near the home. They can engage their sense of smell, vision and hearing and have a dog adventure. Throwing balls or playing with toys. Snuggle time!
