Pet care experience
I’ve been the one that my friends and family go to when they need someone to care for their home and love their pets when they’re away! I send frequent updates of the fur-babies having a staycation with Auntie Karen. I feel like I’ve done my best when the pets miss me when I leave!

When my dog Chloe met Karen, she literally just melted into her. Karen is so kind and gentle. Dogs sense the walkers energy and Karen was perfect! Karen was a natural. Genuinely loves animals and very soft spoken with Chloe. I knew she was in great hands. And a perfect fit. Thank you Karen. I know my baby girl is in good hands.
Karen loved our cats like her own, sent cuddle pictures every day and left our home spotless and tidy. She also dealt with a plumbing issue and did a number of small tasks we had asked her to do before we left. All done perfectly! We are delighted to have her as our cat sitter and will definitely contact her for future trips. Thanks Karen!!
Karen is absolutely fantastic! Very thorough, attentive and overall a delightful pet sitter! ? She encouraged my dog to get out of the house despite his inclinations to stay inside. Karen also takes great photos and provides excellent care while you're away.
As a 1st time Rover user, I didn’t know what to expect. But once I meant Karen, I was fine! Karen went over & beyond to take of my cat and home, even getting through Hurricane Hillary! I loved getting the daily pictures, all the updates and was totally relieved knowing that a loving cat mom was with staying with my pet. I would highly recommend Karen! I totally feel comfortable with her and her ability to take of my pet and home.

I always try to stick to a pets usual routine when their family is home - whether that’s their feeding schedule, playtime, or cuddle time! Although if an animal isn’t comfortable with me yet I can just be around as a familiar face until they’re ready for cuddle time.
Information Karen M. would like to know about your pet
I like to know how the dog is on leash and around other animals. Is there a certain time of day that they like to go out? What are the dogs triggers - other animals, squirrels, or the random balloon flying by?
A typical day
It's very important that our pets stick to as close to their regular routine as possible. So I try to keep to the pet's schedule - feeding, playing, outside time, and cuddles. I know that we miss our pets when we're away from them. I do my best to send pictures and updates throughout the day so parents aren't too worried about their pets. I'm a homebody, so I'm more than likely to stay at home working, reading, or doing artwork. Hopefully the dog or cat likes the same Netflix shows that I do!

I’m currently working from home part-time as well as being an online student part-time. Since I can do it all remotely, I have all the time needed to make pets feel loved.
