I prefer smaller to medium size dogs but I will care for dogs that are up to 40lbs- I would first have to meet the larger dogs & know in advance what type of breed they are. I prefer dogs that are housebroken/trained already. However I possess the skills to teach/train dogs pretty well. I am not a professional trainer but I certainly can do it. Both of my dogs were very smart & very well behaved.

I would take the dogs for walks in my neighborhood or my clients neighborhood if I am pet sitting at their place. If pet sitting in or near my neighborhood, I would definitely walk them by the house I may take them to a park via the owners discretion. I would play with them inside the house & outside of the house. I always encourage lots of toys. It keeps them busy, they get exercise and it can be a great distraction from missing their owners :-) I also love to go to the beach so by the owners discretion, I may take them with me to the beach! Especially if the owner would be on vacation for awhile. I would take them with me to a dog friendly beach to get them some fresh air, excercise and to keep them busy. I always take my dog to the beach. They loved it :-)
