Karen is a lovely human and a dedicated dog lover. We adopted a hound last July and she has had a few challenges, so we looked for a boarding option that would be a positive experience for our dog while also providing enough supervision and calm attentive care so she would feel comfortable. Our pup has become very attached to me because of the many times she was abandoned, so it really took a special touch to help her feel safe right away. Karen’s dog Ginsburg became her pal, and they spent hours basking in the sun on the deck in the backyard. When our pup came home after staying with Karen she was happy and calm, with no added nervousness or reactivity after the change. From our first meeting when Karen and Ginsburg met us for a walk Karen was also a wonderful resource, sharing helpful ideas after listening closely to our specific challenges with our sweet sensitive hound. After our first meeting I asked if we could meet a second time and Karen suggested we meet at her house so I could see how Rosie behaved in her home. This was such a helpful step, and helped me feel comfortable boarding her at Karen’s house. If you want a household of dog lovers who truly care about your dog’s well being and healthy development, then this is the place for you!

My pup had such a good time with Karen and her family :) I was given daily updates / photos, and could tell she was comfortable and at ease with them. Would definitely recommend Karen !!!
