Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Karen and I’m at nursing school in MD. I own 2 dogs, 2 parrots and cats. I would love the chance to watch yours! Also, I have experience with pet feeding, providing long walks, and playtime. In addition, I’m comfortable administering medication and working with any size of dog or cat. My availability is flexible. I prefer to take care of pets at my house because I work from home and we have a huge backyard where they can play safe. I’m lovely, very reliable, passionate, and out-going when it comes to caring animals. Honest and hardworking. Please let me know if you’re interested, I’ll reply as soon as possible.
Reviews
Karen was fantastic! My dog warmed up so quickly to her and looked so happy in all of the photos and when I went to picked her up! Karen was so great at asking for temperament information at the start which made me feel comfortable leaving my dog with her!
Karen is great. We've taken our dog to her weekly since last year. Our dog always seems to have a great time and sometimes doesn't even want to leave. There's usually other dogs to play with and a fenced backyard.
Karen just loves the pups and the pups love themselves some Karen. Her two dogs played with the pups the WHOLE day and both pups came home wiped out. And slept the rest of the night. She is on my short list of sitters to call to watch the pups
Super friendly, positive and caring host.

Information Karen D. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know if your pet has severe separation anxiety or shows aggression towards other dogs/people/cats? Are they used to walking on a leash? Have other sitters expressed concern about them trying to escape? Do they show food aggression? Is there excessive humping or barking? Sometimes, I board numerous pets together, and your pet being properly socialized prior to the stay, is very important. Lack of transparency or honesty could put your pet, as well as other pets at risk. Also, please be transparent about any previous or current medical issues during our conversation or during the Meet & Greet. Even though I have extra dog food and toys, please bring your dog's food and whatever toys or bedding your pet will need to make them feel comfortable. Loading your dog's vet information/pictures, and answering the questions on Rover, makes things easier for me. I want your pet to have a fun, energetic, loving and peaceful experience.
A typical day
We can go to the park or walk in the neighborhood. It depends the amount of dogs and the kind of dogs I have in the moment. We can play on the backyard too. I love throwing the ball and them to fetch it. I have a lot of toys at home for them so they can stay busy inside too. We got a medium dog pool and they love it! If is hot and we play outside, sometimes we get ice and put it in the backyard and they really enjoy it. We also play inside the house if is too hot.

I’m currently working part time at night on the weekends as Helpdesk representative and study from home, so I have plenty of time to play with the pups!.
